The Lenovo Olympic Athlete Celebration, a gathering of Olympians and Paralympians - past and present - from throughout North Carolina, will be held October 1 at the Embassy Suites in Cary. The annual banquet, which grew out of last year's U.S. Olympic Festival 20th Anniversary Banquet, will celebrate the accomplishments of North Carolina Olympic and Paralympic competitors. Jim Scherr, CEO of the United States Olympic Committee and former Olympic wrestler will deliver the keynote address.

Hosted by the Triangle Sports Commission and sponsored by Worldwide Olympic Partner, Lenovo, the Lenovo Olympic Athlete Celebration will be the community’s chance to join these athletes for dinner and participate in a live and silent auction of Olympic memorabilia. An Olympian will be seated at each table. Tickets are available for purchase for individuals and corporate tables will be made available for local companies.

Corporate Tables consist of 9 seats with an Olympian seated at your table. We are offering a discounted rate of $600 for non-profit organizations that wish to purchase a corporate table. A 1/2 Corporate Table consists of 5 seats at a table that you will share with individuals who have purchased tickets and an Olympian. A discounted rate of $300 is being offered to non-profit organizations who wish to purchase a 1/2 table. If your company would prefer to pay by check, please contact Faryn Driscoll.
